Value at Work Team Workshop

Know your value and the value your create at work

It’s human to want to feel valued.

At work, that feeling comes from knowing what matters most to you and others.

The Value at Work Workshop helps individuals and teams have practical, energising conversations about what they give, get, and create in their workscapes.

Through guided activities using the Value in Workscapes value element cards, participants build shared understanding, reduce friction, and discover fresh motivation for how they work together.

What work brings to you depends a great deal on what you bring to work.”

A claymation-style scene shows four adults of diverse ages and ethnicities sitting around a table in a softly lit room with cool blue tones. Each person has a unique clay texture and simple, rounded features. They are engaged in conversation, with sheets of paper and small stacks of blue rectangular clay cards on the table. In the background, a tall green clay plant adds a natural touch, and the overall atmosphere feels calm, creative, and collaborative.

What others say

“It got people thinking and revealed how much they cared about their work and how little they valued income. Back in the office, managers kept the conversation going.”

~ Michelle O’Sullivan, Senior Manager, Organisational Development, Land Use Victoria

“Helen has such a fresh take on understanding yourself and others, eliminating misunderstandings and finding common ground with people you work with (or would like to work with). It was a truly enjoyable team activity with plenty of a-ha moments.”

~ Anetta

“The team left inspired. It was engaging, practical, and shifted how we think about value.”

~ Steven Portelli, Senior Director, Community Services Directorate, ACT Government
